Terms of use
Last updated 11 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Counter. By using the site, you agree to them. They are written to be read, so they are short.
The service
Counter shows prices, new menu items and discounts at cafes and bakeries in Singapore, and sends The Weekly Bake, a free email every Monday. Some parts are free. Others will be part of a paid plan.
About the prices
We read prices from each cafe's own menu and check them every week, and each price shows the date we checked it. Cafes change their prices often, so a price may be out of date or wrong. Use what you see here as a guide, not as a quote. Always check with the cafe.
The cafes and bakeries on the map are not our partners and have not endorsed us, unless we say so.
Paid plans
Joining the waitlist is free and you will not be charged. We will email you before paid plans start, with the price and the terms. You choose then whether to sign up.
What you send us
When you send a menu, a suggestion or your shop's details, you confirm you are allowed to share it. You let us use it to run and improve Counter, including showing the prices from your menu. We handle any personal data as our privacy notice describes.
Fair use
- Do not copy our data in bulk, scrape the site, or resell what you find here.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around any part of the site.
- Do not send us anything unlawful, harmful or that belongs to someone else.
We may stop access for anyone who breaks these rules.
Names and marks
Counter's name, design and writing belong to us. Cafe and bakery names belong to their owners and appear only to identify where a price came from.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made using its prices or for losses that come from using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law does not allow us to limit.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, we will tell you by email.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes go to the courts of Singapore.
